Al-Risala Academy is a private Islamic school in Mississauga committed to academic excellence, spiritual growth, and strong moral character.
With three distinct schools—Montessori, Elementary, and High School—Al-Risala nurtures students from their earliest years through to graduation, offering a comprehensive education rooted in both Ontario curriculum and Islamic values.

Academy Objectives
- Provide students with a safe and nurturing learning environment and facilities to help students discover and develop their potential.
- Offer accredited Arabic and Islamic studies courses infused with the Ontario curriculum to foster Islamic values and practices such as Patriotism, Faithfulness, Honesty, Forgiveness, Respect for all Tolerance and Love.
- Encourage students to care for their social, mental, and physical health.
- Provide all staff members with opportunities to develop in the field of education by conducting pedagogical seminars, workshops and lectures to enrich their capabilities while teaching and guiding their students.
- Help students appreciate and preserve their country’s natural resources and environment.
Academy Philosophy
Moral Education is primarily the responsibility of parents, the school, the community, and the media. Education is a continuous process as stipulated by our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
Our educational program leads to ONTARIO SECONDARY SCHOOL DIPLOMA (OSSD) since our school will follow the Ontario curriculum and will be inspected regularly by the Ontario Ministry of Education.
Each student is a unique individual regardless of his/her ethnic or socioeconomic background. Each student should be given the opportunity to be developed physically, mentally, socially and spiritually in a healthy and ethical environment as stipulated in our Islamic teaching.
Emphasis on academic, physical, and spiritual development as well as Islamic values and practices shall be our goals.
