At Al-Risala Academy, our elementary students grow academically, spiritually, and socially in a vibrant, faith-centered environment. Each day begins with the morning du’a (supplication) and students perform Dhur prayer as part of their daily routine.

We offer a full range of academic subjects—English, Math, Science, Social Studies, French, Art, and Physical Education—aligned with the Ontario Ministry of Education curriculum, one of the strongest in the world. In addition, our Islamic studies program includes Qur’an, Arabic, and Islamic Studies, helping students strengthen their faith while excelling in academics.

Our teachers use creative teaching strategies, incorporating technology and interactive activities that make learning exciting and memorable. Beyond the classroom, students enjoy a wide variety of school competitions and extracurriculars—from spelling bees, math and science fairs, to Quran recitation, soccer, basketball, and volleyball.

With school trips, themed boys’ and girls’ nights, and hands-on learning opportunities, our elementary students are constantly engaged, growing in confidence and character. At Al-Risala, we believe in nurturing well-rounded individuals who are academically strong and spiritually grounded.

High School

High school at Al-Risala Academy is where our students truly thrive—academically, spiritually, and personally. As an Ontario Ministry of Education–inspected private school, we grant the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), which opens doors to universities and colleges across Canada and beyond.

Our graduates have gone on to top institutions like the University of Toronto, McMaster University, University of Waterloo, and many others—pursuing programs in business, engineering, life sciences, health sciences, and more. Some even receive prestigious scholarships, including a $100,000 Schulich Leader Scholarship!

But it’s not just about academics. Our high school students take part in a wide variety of enriching school activities—student council, Boys’ Night, Girls’ Gala, volunteer programs, sports tournaments, and more. These experiences help them develop leadership, time management, and collaboration skills they’ll carry with them for life.

Throughout it all, our students stay connected to their Islamic identity. They begin each day with du’a, attend daily Dhur prayers, and on Fridays, our own students lead the Jummah khutbah.

At Al-Risala, secondary students are encouraged to dream big, work hard, and stay true to their values. We’re proud to guide them on the path to both academic success and personal fulfillment.
